While you are waiting for an answer from those people that you want to get hired from; I highly suggest that you continue doing a a local job search everyday; after all you may not get the job that you applied for. Never put all your eggs in one basket and hope and pray that you get that job. Sometimes things just do not work out and if you have several job applications floating around; then you are more likely to get a job faster than if you just have one application filled out and putting all your hopes on one company.
Do not worry it does not take long to apply for jobs online and you can easily save all your information if you have to come back to it later on during the day.
