How Much Does It Cost To Use An Employment Agency

July 18, 2011 · Filed Under Employment Agencies

People who begin searching the internet and begin experiencing a dry spell on the list of available jobs always begin to ask themselves; “how much does it cost to use an employment agency?”

This is a legitimate question after all no one wants to pay to be able to find a job. The great news is that if you are considering going through an employment agency; they never charge the employee. They are working for the companies; therefore they are charging the companies for helping them find qualified employees.

So if you begin using Manpower they are working for a company they may be charging the company $12.00 per hour for their services. This means that when you get the job they will offer you the job at $10.00 per hour. This way they are still making money and you are making money as well. This is how most of them
work; you will always end up making less per hour than the job actually pays.

If you can get hired from the company without the assistance of the employment agency then you have the potential to make $12.00 per hour instead of $10.00 per hour.

The only downfall with using an employment agency; is that when you usually get hired you are hired as a temporary worker. You could work at that company for several months and you may never get offered a
full time position. Most likely the employer is watching you and trying to see if you will fit in with their company.

Many times employers will use employment agencies to help them fill permanent positions for people who are out on maternity leave or who are on military leave. Most likely it is not a permanent position. There is nothing wrong with using an employment agency; if you are looking for something quick that will pay the bills.

Of course you should still consider doing your search on your own to help you find something that is more permanent and you that can turn into a full time position. You can easily continue doing your entry level job search online with the use of these online job search sites.
